2024/25 Winter Storage Packages

With fall approaching and the summer camping season coming to an end it’s soon time to start getting your RV ready for off-season storage. Finding a place to store your RV and travel trailer over the winter doesn’t have to be a challenge. At PEI Home & RV Centre we offer our customers Seasonal outdoor storage right at our dealership until you need it again in the spring!

With rates starting at just $399.95 per season, you can choose the seasonal package that is right for your budget.

RV Seasonal Storage in our region is typically Fall through to Spring. The duration of Seasonal Storage at PEI Home RV Centre will start anytime in the fall once you are ready to store your RV. It is the expectation, however, that you be prepared to pick up your RV no later than May 31^st of the following year. Any RV’s remaining in storage after this date will be subject to a $100 +HST monthly storage fee.

Trailer Pick-up and delivery are available Island-wide- Fees will vary based on location

Tips to prepare your RV for Seasonal Storage:

Empty and purge all the tanks and pipes (shower, dishwasher, washing machine, sink, water heater, etc.) and add non-toxic RV antifreeze. Don’t forget the drains!

Remove sheets and textiles. As well as any cloth or fabrics to reduce the risk of mold

To help control humidity, use moisture control products

Make sure the interior is dry and secure

If storing a motorhome fill fuel tank to help prevent corroding

Clean the inside of RV, Remove any food from the cupboards and empty the trash.

Replace sealants and gaskets if necessary.

Put repellents and traps indoors and outdoors for rodents and other pests.

Turn off the power y and propane supply. Remove propane tanks and store all batteries in a dry place indoors.

Close the blinds to avoid big changes in temperature.

Prop open all doors, including the fridge and freezer.
